Southwest Kansas: Science in          Context.  Collaboration with Kathleen Sanders (FHSU Teacher Education Department), Paul Adams (FHSU Teacher Education Department and Physics Department), John Heinrichs (FHSU Geosciences Department), James Hohman (FHSU Chemistry Department).  Two years:  $180,000.

2002-04                      National Science Foundation.  Integrating Math and Science in Middle School Instruction.  Collaboration with        Germaine Taggart (FHSU Teacher Education Department), Paul Adams (FHSU Teacher Education Department and Physics Department), John Heinrichs (FHSU Geosciences Department), James Hohman (FHSU Chemistry Department).  Two years:  $200,000 (external funding) and $200,000 (internal funding).

 2001-03         Eisenhower Professional Development Grant award.  Project IRIS:  Inquiry, Research and Integrated Science. Improving Middle School Instruction through Integration of Physical and Plant Sciences.  Funded with Paul Adams, FHSU Physics Dept.  two years: $118,794.
